App sales tracker for iPhone: the best apps in 2026
An app sales tracker, in this sense, shows what your own app earns and downloads on the App Store, not a store's retail sales and not a list of apps currently on sale. These eight iPhone apps put your own App Store numbers (sales, proceeds, downloads, in-app purchases and subscriptions) in your pocket, mostly by connecting straight to App Store Connect. We compared all eight using only what each app's own listing says.
Ratings are the US App Store average, rounded to one decimal, with the number of ratings in brackets. Prices in USD; Apple shows local prices.
How we picked
We searched the US App Store on 4 October 2026 for "app store connect sales", "app sales tracker developer", "appfigures", "app store connect analytics" and "sales downloads app store connect", and kept the apps whose main job is showing your own App Store sales, proceeds or downloads on an iPhone.
We left out apps with one rating or none (AppSales for App Store Connect, Tallyr, MRRingo, Driven), except our own, which we include and disclose; they're covered briefly below with facts from their listings.
Every feature below is taken from the app's own App Store description. We did not invent test results, and we do not say an app lacks something just because its listing does not mention it.
The order follows the number of App Store ratings, a rough sign of how many developers use each app. It is not a quality score.

iOS 17+
v3.3 · 23 Sep 2026
Best for: the official source, straight from Apple.
App Store Connect is Apple's own companion app for managing your apps on iPhone and iPad. Its listing says it shows "key sales and trends information to monitor app performance," alongside the status of your submissions, tester groups, new builds, and screenshot and crash feedback. You can view and respond to customer ratings and reviews, generate marketing assets for featured moments or launches, and get notified of app status changes, new reviews, tester feedback and featuring. It works with your own App Store Connect account.
Best for: one dashboard for downloads, revenue and reviews together.
Appfigures packs a unified dashboard for downloads, app and in-app revenue, ad revenue and ratings, with detailed reports and real-time alerts so you always have your finger on the pulse. Its listing breaks out downloads by type (app downloads, updates, returns, educational, gifts and promo codes), subscription trends including MRR and churn, ad revenue by eCPM and fill rate, and a way to read and reply to reviews from every country, translated into your language. It also offers a "Try as guest" mode to see the app in action first. Its listing doesn't say how it connects to your App Store Connect data.
Best for: a free first look at downloads and revenue by country.
App Sales - Store Reports shows total downloads, revenue, in-app purchases, subscriptions and updates per app in one place, with daily and monthly charts you swipe through and global insights into which countries drive your downloads and earnings. Multi-Account Support lets you connect every App Store developer account you have with your API key, and you can choose the currency your earnings display in. The listing says the app is free to use forever, with premium features available to subscribers. It doesn't say where your API key is stored.
Best for: charts and widgets for subscribers, trials, MRR and churn.
Trendly calls itself "a beautiful Sales and Trend monitor for your apps in the App Store," with a wide variety of charts for tracking subscribers, trials, MRR, churn and more. Its listing lists different Lock and Home Screen widgets, notifications when new data is available, support for multiple keys so you can track several apps, sales displayed in any currency, real downloads rather than app units, alternate app icons and dark mode for the app and its widgets. Trendly fetches your data through the App Store Connect API; your credentials are stored in Keychain, and the listing says all data stays on your device. It states it is not affiliated with Apple.

Apple Watch
v3.1.0 · 27 Oct 2025
Best for: a reporting tool that also runs on Apple Watch.
Applytics fetches your sales and reporting from App Store Connect and parses it into what its listing calls "a beautiful interface," covering new downloads, re-downloads, purchases and subscriptions in multiple currencies, with smart breakdowns by app so you can compare different days. It lists widgets for a quicker view of your latest days of sales, and it is the one app here with an Apple Watch app on its listing. Applytics requires an App Store Connect API key to work; the listing says these credentials are stored securely in Keychain and synced through iCloud, and that the app connects directly to App Store Connect to keep them safe.
Best for: sales numbers alongside keyword and ASO tracking.
AppConsol connects directly to Apple's developer API to show installs, revenue, trends and what its listing calls "actionable growth insights." It covers yesterday's numbers plus 7-day, 30-day, 90-day and yearly trends, broken down by country, product and currency, and adds a keyword ranking tracker, competitor monitoring, 17 built-in rules for growth recommendations, ASO metadata checks, a multi-app dashboard, CSV data export and smart notifications for install spikes, revenue milestones and ranking drops. The listing says it connects via your own API key, stored in iOS Keychain with device encryption, that data never touches its servers, and that it works offline with caching. Premium features are free to try for 3 days.
Best for: subscription insights and review replies in one place.
Peek connects your App Store Connect account to monitor sales and trends, with subscription insights for active subscriptions, free trials, MRR and ARR, keyword rankings for ASO, and customer reviews you can manage, translate and reply to with AI. It adds time-based views (this/last week, month and month-to-date), a look at your top apps and purchases for any period, notifications when new sales data arrives, a custom currency setting, and widgets that also work on Mac and iPad without extra setup. Accessibility features include larger text, dark mode and VoiceOver support. The listing says your API key is stored in iCloud Keychain, only you can access it, and there's no tracking, data collection or ads.
Best for: founders whose App Store revenue runs through RevenueCat.
ShipHQ is the MRR tracker app that turns your real RevenueCat numbers, and optionally Google Analytics traffic, into an isometric startup office game: each connected app gets a desk, paying subscribers become the people in your office, and the Daily Brief replays new subscribers, trials and churn every morning. It's free for up to 2 apps, with optional memberships for more apps and AI manager reports. ShipHQ runs on iPhone (iOS 15 or later) and on Android (7.0 or later). Unlike every other app on this page, it does not read App Store Connect sales reports at all; it reads RevenueCat, so it only fits if your App Store revenue runs through RevenueCat subscriptions.
Your App Store Connect account holds your actual sales, proceeds and downloads, so how an app reaches it is worth checking before you connect. This is what each listing says.
Apple's own app
App Store Connect is Apple's own app for your App Store Connect account, so no third party is involved.
App Store Connect API key, kept in Keychain
Trendly stores your credentials in Keychain and says all data stays on your device. AppConsol stores your API key in iOS Keychain with device encryption and says data never touches its servers.
App Store Connect API key, kept in iCloud Keychain
Applytics stores the key in Keychain and syncs it through iCloud. Peek asks you to connect your App Store Connect account and says your API key is stored in iCloud Keychain, where only you can access it.
App Store Server Notifications, in real time
Not one of the eight above, but worth knowing: Tallyr (also considered, below) connects this way instead of an API key, so a sale reaches it as Apple sends the notification, per its own listing.
Not stated
Appfigures' listing doesn't describe how it connects to your App Store Connect data. App Sales - Store Reports says you connect with your API key, but doesn't say where that key is stored.
However fresh any one app's refresh feels, Apple's own App Store Connect page sets the baseline: you "get next-day sales and unit data in Sales and Trends," so even Apple's first-party sales figures run about a day behind.
Four more app sales trackers turned up in the same search, each with zero or one US rating, so they sit here instead of in the table above, facts again only from each listing. AppSales for App Store Connect costs $2.99 and lists an Apple Watch app, connecting with an App Store Connect API key and secrets that it says are kept in Keychain and synced through iCloud. Tallyr: App Revenue Tracker is free and connects a different way, through App Store Server Notifications, so a sale reaches it as Apple sends it, with an optional API key unlocking downloads, reviews and the acquisition funnel. MRRingo for App Store Connect turns your data into investor-style MRR and ARR figures and keeps your credentials in Keychain. Driven – Live App Analytics (5.0 from 1 rating) overlays your sales and downloads on a timeline with your own notes, and its listing says it requires a subscription for continuous access.

Frequently asked questions
Is there an official Apple app to track app sales on iPhone?
Yes. App Store Connect is Apple's own app, and it's free. Apple's developer page says the App Store Connect app lets you monitor your app's sales and downloads, reply to App Store Review, get notified of new reviews, respond to reviews, and more, all on your iPhone or iPad, and that you get next-day sales and unit data in Sales and Trends.
Which app sales tracker apps are free?
All eight of the apps compared here are free to download. App Sales - Store Reports and AppConsol offer optional premium features (AppConsol's listing offers a 3-day free trial for Premium), and ShipHQ is free for up to 2 apps with optional memberships for more.
Can I see my app sales in a widget?
Yes, on some of them. Trendly lists Lock and Home Screen widgets, Applytics lists widgets for your latest days of sales, and Peek lists widgets that also work on Mac and iPad. App Store Connect, Appfigures, App Sales - Store Reports and AppConsol don't mention widgets on their listings.
Do I have to share my App Store Connect password? What's an API key here?
It depends on the app. App Store Connect is Apple's own app for your account. Trendly, Applytics, AppConsol and Peek work with an App Store Connect API key instead of your password, a credential you generate in App Store Connect and add to the app, which each listing says is then kept in Keychain (Applytics syncs it through iCloud, and Peek keeps it in iCloud Keychain). App Sales - Store Reports also asks for an API key but its listing doesn't say where it's stored. Appfigures' listing doesn't describe how it connects.
How up to date are the numbers?
It varies by app and by what Apple itself reports. Apple's own App Store Connect page says you get next-day sales and unit data in Sales and Trends, so even the official numbers run about a day behind. AppConsol's listing says it shows yesterday's numbers alongside 7-day, 30-day, 90-day and yearly trends; Peek and Trendly say they notify you when new sales data becomes available, without stating how fresh that data is.
Which should an indie dev start with?
Start with the free official App Store Connect app if you mainly want Apple's own sales and trends view alongside review replies and build management. Add Appfigures or Peek if you want deeper reports and subscription views, Trendly or Applytics if you want an API-key connection with Lock Screen or Apple Watch support, or AppConsol if you also want keyword and ASO tracking next to your sales. Pick ShipHQ instead if your App Store revenue runs through RevenueCat rather than App Store Connect sales reports, since it tracks that business a different way, as a daily habit rather than a report.
